Market cap is not trading volume
Two numbers that answer different questions.

Market capitalization
Market cap is the quoted price multiplied by circulating supply. It is a way to compare asset scale, not the amount of cash invested in an asset.
Trading volume
Volume measures trading activity over a period. A 24-hour figure is distinct from an asset’s total market value.
Compare like with like
Use the same currency, timeframe and data provider when comparing assets. Supply estimates and market coverage can vary between providers.
